English

TCG has incorporated the Jolly Phonics programme into our English lesson. Jolly Phonics is originated from the United Kingdom. It uses the synthetic phonic approach to guide children to read in early age. Jolly Phonic uses fun and interactive way that motivate our young children in early literacy. In TCG, we also introduce Jolly Music, Jolly Readers as well as Jolly Grammar to provide a thorough foundation in English literacy through out the 4 years in TCG.

Red dots mathematics

"Learning math is not just learning to count. It is increasing your child's intelligence." ~ Professor Glenn Doman, "How To Teach Your Baby Math."

In TCG, we use red dots mathematics approach to teach our children early mathematics. Red dots mathematics is an easy and effective way to teach young children addition and subtraction. We teach mathematics in a joyous way where children do hands-on and practice real life scenario, like scooping and measuring.

Bahasa Malaysia

As a right brain training school, we emphasis a lot in flash cards. Children learn new vocabulary through flash card as well as sukukata approach. Children master their sukukata starting 4 years old. By the age of 6, they are able to read words with KKV and KKVK sukukata.

Mandarin

Children learn from basic stroke to comprehension and rearrange the words to make a sentence. In TCG, also 99% graduates are attending SJKC and they encountered smooth transition from preschool to primary one. New vocabularies are introduced using the flash card method.

Science

"I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand" ~ Confucius

TCG holds the above philosophy and we strongly believe hands-on experience is very important in introducing early science to young children. With the cooperation with UC resources, we are engaging children in science experiments and children learn to predict and record their findings. This interesting science programme also encourages home projects to strengthen parents children bonding.
