Our philosophy

​

In The Children Garden, we believe that children absorb knowledge rapidly through both left and right brains. By training them to use both brains effectively, children can excel fullest in their overall intellectual development. Classroom activities are designed to trigger both sides of the brains that encompass active learning among the children.

​

We encourage children to think out of the box. There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to problem solving activities as long as children are able to solve the problem at hand logically. We wish to train the children to be an independent thinker and to develop critical thinking skills through activities and challenges that can sparks their creativities.

​

Our philosophy also guides us to create a safe environment which allow freedom of speech among children, teachers and parents, to express their opinions and thoughts. We value the partnership with family and strongly believe that both school and family hold an important role in the children’s holistic development.

 

We understand that every child learns at his own pace. In view of that, we are focusing on small classroom concept to cater for more personal guidance and to customize teaching approach for each child in order to build the child’s overall educational development.

Our kindergarten is committed in providing the children the freedom to choose any physical games to play during garden time to explore the world around them. It enables them to express themselves physically.

Part of The Children Garden philosophy focuses on “7 habits of happy kids” by Sean Covey to instil leadership qualities in the children and enable them to grow with good values in life.

We value and acknowledge the quality of our teachers and constantly upgrading their professional quality and experience which encourages positive and growth opportunity. By developing our teachers’ professional knowledge and skills, we can then extend the best possible learning opportunity to all children in The Children Garden.
